Got a chance to play around with a Flip mino HD camera, nifty little point and shoot. View the above video at Vimeo in HD. Decent quality 720p HD video 1280×720@30fps, there are a few tricky bits to the device, it has a fixed focal distance (0.8m to infinity) and fixed focal length which creates a pretty narrow angle of view causing you to have to be further back from the subject you’re shooting than you’d expect to be. Below are some stills I pulled from the above video. It’s certainly no RED, but for what it is, it’ll do.
